Changes from June 2026 up to 1.16.0. Media files get languages, and titles and descriptions get translations. Categories, category types, content types and tags move into one tool, the Catalog. You can look at a SmartVu® in 3D on its own page, and Copilot apps can ask their users to accept a privacy policy and an end user agreement.
New
- Languages for media. When your workspace has languages, you pick them under Languages on the edit page of a media file. Cards show the language codes, the file page shows them as badges, and the media library sidebar has a Languages section to filter with one click. A file without languages counts for every language.
- Apps show each user group the media of its languages. A file in German goes to every group with German. A file for German in Austria goes only to that territory. A group gets exactly the languages in its list; add plain German to a group that should also get files in plain German.
- Translations. The forms of media, collections, categories, category types and content types have a Translations section with one row per language. Apps show the translation for the language the user picks, and the normal title where there is none.
- The Catalog. Categories, category types, content types and tags now live under Tools → Catalog instead of in each library. In the Catalog, the sidebar item opens with direct links and counts.
- 3D viewer for SmartVu®s. The page of a SmartVu® has a Viewer section after Overview. It shows the SmartVu® in 3D, the same as your apps, also before you publish it.
- Privacy policy and end user agreement for Copilot apps. The Privacy & End User Agreement extension asks app users to accept a link or a PDF. Users are asked again only when you change the Effective date (agreement version).
- Single or multi category types. With Dimensioning set to Single, an item can have only one category of the type, for example "Brochure" or "Manual".
- More control over app pages and media libraries. Collection list pages can group by a category type, limit their filter rows (Limit filter rows) and show count badges. The new Media Library card of the app configuration groups media by a category type, limits the filter panels and hides media of chosen categories. A Galleries switch shows or hides the galleries section.
Improved
- Languages show a flag and their own name, for example 🇦🇹 Deutsch. A language without a territory shows a globe. Published apps get the same flags and names for their language switcher.
- The login screen of an app shows the app icon.
Fixed
- A released version reaches your apps every time. Vuframe® Cloud replaces the delivered copies right after the release and checks that the apps get the new version.
- Filtered pages work in the iOS app and after a reload.
- Saving a page keeps its filter rules. Older pages no longer lose their filters when you open and save them.
- The page form in the app editor scrolls when a page has many settings.
