Vuframe® is a finalist in the international EIT Digital Challenge
Regensburg, July 22, 2021.
Vuframe, the German market leader for 3D product visualizations as well as VR and AR applications, is in the running for the EIT Digital Challenge 2021, Europe's flagship competition for deep tech scale-ups. In an exclusive online event, 20 finalists from ten European countries will compete on September 21. The competition is called a Challenge because the finalists will present their technology live in front of an international jury of experts from companies and investors. Prize money worth a total of 250,000 euros will be distributed to the winners.
The competition focuses on growth-stage startups, known as scale-ups, with deep tech products that leverage sophisticated, hard-to-copy digital technologies that drive digital transformation.
Vuframe is launching its cloud-based Vuframe platform. With this, objects - no matter how big and bulky - can be visualized in 3D, VR and AR at a 1:1 ratio anytime, anywhere, and without prior programming knowledge.
Andreas Zeitler, founder and CEO of Vuframe, said:
"Being nominated to the finals of this prestigious event is a great opportunity for us to present our technology in front of an international audience. The topic of VR and AR is one of the most important topics of the future and touches marketing as well as teaching and maintenance of machines. We are creating new digital places where people can come together to experience and test products, spaces and processes."
A total of 409 companies from 33 countries entered the competition. They cover a wide range of areas strategically selected in terms of key digital trends and European leadership potential: Digital Tech, Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Finance and Digital Wellbeing.
Vuframe will compete against 19 other European deep tech scale-ups. Three winners will be awarded and receive a full year of support from the EIT Digital Accelerator, worth €50,000, to develop their businesses in Europe and beyond. The winner will also receive prize money of 100,000 euros.
The EIT Digital Challenge is now in its eighth consecutive year. Since its launch in 2014, the competition has received a total of 2,900 applications from 35 countries.
